Shower Rooms Differences Between Standard Sea Freight and Express Sea Freight
| Standard Sea Freight | Express Sea Freight | |
|---|---|---|
| Transit Time | Around 12–14 days | Around 5–7 days |
| Best For | Standard sea freight is ideal for large, heavy, or oversized cargo. It helps avoid reclassification to formal customs for oversize items and is commonly used for large furniture and machinery. | Express sea freight usually limits single pieces to under 70 kg and no more than 120×120 cm on any two sides. Exceeding this may trigger transfer to formal customs. It is mainly used for daily necessities, small parcels, and luggage. |
| Remote Area Surcharge | Some destinations may incur remote area surcharges for standard sea freight. | For inner-island destinations and non-oversized cargo, express sea freight usually does not have remote area surcharges. |
| Minimum Charge | Standard sea freight typically has a minimum charge of around RMB 400. | Express sea freight usually starts from 3 kg. |
| Customs & Tax | Standard sea freight uses formal customs declaration and invoices can be issued for tax deduction where applicable. | Express sea freight supports both formal and simplified customs declarations. |
With winter approaching, snow, ice, and fog may affect port and inland operations in some regions. FrostRush has activated winter logistics contingency plans.
Plans include: close coordination with carriers, ports, and trucking for delay and recovery updates; proactive alerts and alternatives for affected shipments; and "weather impact" tags in the system for easier identification and communication.
Please check destination weather and port notices before shipping and allow buffer time; for urgent shipments, contact us in advance for priority handling.
